Lazy Dragon Con has chosen
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation
as the charity to support at our event.
We took a poll at some of the events we have attended. We asked if the patrons would be more inclined to wear a button saying "Support Breast Cancer Research" or "Save the Boobies!". We found that many people (yeah, mostly guys), had reservations about wearing a button with the word "cancer" on it.

The buttons are $5.00 each and are hand pressed by That Pagan Chick to insure the quality. $4.00 from each button will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. $1.00 from each button goes to making the buttons. We will continue to sell the buttons until the end of Lazy Dragon Con. We will then write one big check to the Foundation.
You may order a button (or buttons) using PayPal by clicking on "Save the Boobies" Button or sending a check or money order (please make check or money order payable to Rebecka Goad), to STB Button, c/o Rebecka Goad, 6601 Grissom Rd #31, Denton, TX 76208. (Please add $1.00 for shipping/handling).

We also will gladly accept any additional monetary donation, even loose change.
Lazy Dragon Con 2008 will also be having a Silent Auction beginning at 2pm Friday, July 18th, and ending at 1pm Sunday, July 20th. You must be a registered attendee of Lazy Dragon Con to participate. All proceeds will go to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

We at Lazy Dragon and That Pagan Chick, know that cancer is a serious illness and consider the work being done to benefit research a great help to the population at large. We did not create these buttons to intentionally offend anyone and hope that is does not. Our hope is that this will help a great cause and bring a smile to everyone's face.
