What we are seeking are sponsors to donate cash and / or prizes to help us hold our event. A lot of people come to conventions just to have a good time and try to win the prizes involved. The more fun and prizes we offer, the more participation can be expected. This means more exposure for your company and its products.
Why be a Sponsor?
Sponsoring an event, room, or the entire show will allow your company to gain the recognition of all the attendees at Lazy Dragon Con. It is a great opportunity to show off your company’s participation in the community and possibly gain new customers.
Each sponsor will have the sponsors name and logo in the Program Book and on the Lazy Dragon Con web site (linked to their company page if applicable). All prizes awarded will be announced, "This event and prizes for it was sponsored by XYZ Company".
We will accept sponsorships in any amount. The dollar value of the sponsorship determines the amount of exposure given to your business or product. The following are guides as to what a sponsor may expect for their money.
Sponsor a Room (Con Suite, Video Room, etc.) and have your business logo placed on the walls, counters, tables, etc.: $500.00 per day.
Gaming Events are 1 hour each in the Gaming Room. Each sponsor will have a placard with the company name placed on the table for the duration of the event(s), as well as business cards, coupons, and/or other advertisements provided by the sponsor.
Sponsor a Gaming Event: $100.00
Sponsor a Block of Gaming Events: 10 for $900.00
Lazy Dragon Con will also be having other events (charity silent auction, t-shirt contest, wrestling, etc.) that can be sponsored with cash and/or merchandise.
Sponsors who donate at least $300.00 will also have their name and logo posted on the main page of the con website as well as the sponsor page (linked to their company page if applicable) and listed on advertising fliers.
Sponsors may substitute "product" for cash at a ratio of two dollars ($2) retail value of product for each one-dollar ($1) of cash. This substitution may be for any portion of or the entire sponsorship amount. Gift certificates may be substituted for cash (one to one) provided no additional expenditure is required to use the certificate. Gift Certificates should be in $10, $25, or $50 amounts with sufficient certificates to cover the amount of your sponsorship.
One hundred percent (100%) of all product or cash received in any sponsorship agreement will be used for the convention. In the event any such product or funds remain unused, it will be added to the Lazy Dragon Con prize pool at the event end to be put toward future events and the Sponsor will receive credit as the donor.
If you would like to have a sponsorship offer more customized to your specific purpose, we will be happy to discuss the issues involved and try to satisfy your requirements.
